The fire is like the crematoriums, burning of people, also the crazy lady said she had saw fire, so I think it would be a symbol of senses, and being able to understand what was coming, this picture to me seems it goes with the fire symbol, because they had fire of hate in their hearts, and hatred in their hearts, for the Nazis and Germans. It may also symbolize the love that was lost between hearts, as families and friends.

There are also several grammatical errors in your post about pictures and you need to give attribution for where you got the photos.
